All of this started with a dream and a little bartering. As their little ones were growing, Gordon and Sandy wanted a place to get away and enjoy as a family. They ended up finding a lake house that needed a lot of work.

There were two cabins, one was a two bedroom and two bath (the second bath was unusable). The second, well, it was just a shell. It had been burnt down years before. This never held them back, so they struck a deal. They exchanged their RV and their savings for our small piece of property along the river.

When Gordon and Sandy struck their deal, their heads where filled with possibilities. Their children often talk about watching their parents walk the bottom of their property building their dream house together in their heads. They would point out where each bedroom would be, where they kitchen was, and how the living room would overlook the river. Years later, this dream came to fruition, they spent the 1999 New Year’s Eve watching the fireworks over the river sitting on the house’s foundation.

Many summers, holidays, and weekends were spent enjoying this dream. As their children grew older, it became harder and harder to get away and Gordon and Sandy where ready for new projects. Over the years, they have had numerous projects. Their passion is renovating houses and they love sharing these homes with their friends and family.
